Breast Augmentation

Breast augmentation is a very popular enhancement option that can improve the size, shape, and symmetry of the breasts. For individuals who would like to add volume to their breasts or restore the volume that was lost to pregnancy, breastfeeding, or weight loss, this procedure aims to enhance the breasts’ size in relation to a woman’s natural silhouette and body contour. While adding the desired amount of volume, breast augmentation can also optimize the symmetry of the breasts and create a more ideal shape, according to a patient’s unique desires. Women with a certain degree of breast sagging who are considering augmentation can combine the procedure with a breast lift to address both the size and position of the breasts simultaneously.

Breast Lift

As the body ages, it is not uncommon for the breasts to experience significant sagging (ptosis) due to both internal and external forces, including genetics, gravity, pregnancy, breastfeeding, weight fluctuation, and other factors. A breast lift is designed to elevate the breasts to a higher position, improve their shape and feel, and increase their rate of projection. The procedure involves eliminating excess skin in order to lift the breasts, tighten the remaining skin, and create a more ideal position and appearance. Individuals who are experiencing breast ptosis to the extent that their nipples point downward typically benefit greatly from breast lift surgery. A breast lift can be combined with an augmentation with implants for more comprehensive enhancement, depending on the patient’s desires.

Breast Reduction

For many women, contending with overly large breasts can be very burdensome and make physical activity extremely uncomfortable. Not only can disproportionate breasts be a great source of insecurity, but they can also cause physical pain, posture issues, and difficulty breathing, among other health concerns. Breast reduction is designed to make the breasts more manageable by removing excess breast fat, tissue, and/or skin, while subsequently firming and shaping the remaining tissue. This procedure typically yields very high satisfaction rates for women who are able to achieve a breast size and shape that complements, but does not dominate, their unique body contour.
